> Cancelling Customers Subscription

If for any reason, a customer is requesting to have their subscription canceled. This simple guide will help you to do that.

You have on option to decide if you will just stop the subscription or if you will also grant them refund.

 

STOP SUBSCRIPTION

In this option, you are only looking to stop the customers subscription and they will still have access for the remainder of their paid period. To do this, please see below steps:

1. Log in to your Cleeng account and select the 'Accounts' tab on the left hand side of your dashboard under the 'Customer Relationship' section.

 
2. Enter the customers email address on to the search bar and you will see the details and payment history appear.
 
 
3. Click the customers name and you will see the customers subscription details. You will be able to see their next scheduled payment as well as a stop sign at the end of the next payment detail. For Example:\
 
 
 
 
If you click on the red stop sign a message will appear asking you to confirm the cancellation.
 
 
 
4. If you wish to cancel the subscription please select "confirm".
 
 

STOP SUBSCRIPTION WITH REFUND

If you wish to stop the customers subscription and refund their purchase at the same time. You can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Cleeng account and select the "Accounts" tab on the left hand side of your dashboard under the Reporting section.

 
2. Enter the customers email address on to the search bar and you will see the details and payment history appear.
 
 
3. Instead of clicking the red stop button, this time you have to click the “Cancel this transaction” button.
 
 
 
4. A pop up window with this message will appear.
 
 
  1. To cancel and refund a customer please select the "Cancel transaction and refund" button.
