✨ New Payment Method: Pix Automático (Brazil)
We are excited to introduce Pix Automático, a new payment method now available for clients using Cleeng Merchant.
Powered by the Central Bank of Brazil, Pix Automático enables fully automated recurring payments directly from a payer’s bank account. Brazilian customers can authorize recurring subscription payments without needing a credit card - making it easier to subscribe and stay subscribed.
Key benefits
- Higher Conversion & Localized Growth: Pix Automático allows unbanked users or those without credit cards in Brazil to pay, in particular to subscribe online. Pix Automático is being adopted by a significant portion of the Brazilian population.
- Automated Recurring Billing: Unlike standard Pix (which is one-off), Pix Automático handles recurring charges automatically after the initial authorization.
- Reduced Churn: Pix Automático eliminates payment failures caused by expired credit cards or insufficient credit limits, as funds are debited directly from the bank account.
Availability & requirements
Pix Automático is currently:
- Only available for Cleeng Merchant clients
- Supported via Cleeng Hosted Checkout. It is not yet available for custom API integrations or MediaStore SDK components
- Available for offers localized to Brazil (BRL currency)

We're happy to introduce expanded branding capabilities for your Sign-Up, Checkout, and FAQ Panel within the Customer Care Widget. You now have greater flexibility to customize the look and feel of these essential customer touchpoints.
New customization options include:
- Panel color: Select a panel color for your widgets.
- Border radius: Adjust the border radius of widget panels using preset options (such as Sharp or Rounded) or define a custom value in pixels for precise styling control.
- Font family: Choose from a selection of predefined fonts or provide a custom font URL to ensure brand consistency across your widgets.

Where to find it
The new styling options are available within the dashboard configuration of your widgets. Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows, and select the General Branding tab.
