This guide explains how to use the Duplicate feature for Coupon Campaigns in the Cleeng dashboard. Learn how to copy or clone an existing coupon campaign to save time and streamline the process of creating new promotions.
What is duplicating a campaign?
The Duplicate feature is a time-saving tool that creates a new coupon campaign by copying the settings from an existing one.
This action instantly carries over the original campaign's settings, such as its discount type, usage rules, and applicable offers. This is ideal for when you need to run similar promotions without repeating the setup process.
Key benefits
Duplicating a campaign is especially useful when you want to:
- Quickly launch a new campaign based on a successful previous one.
- Create multiple, slightly different versions of a single promotion.
- Reduce manual data entry and minimize the risk of configuration errors.
- Save significant time and effort in managing your coupon strategy.
Step-by-step guide
Follow these steps to duplicate a campaign in your Cleeng dashboard:
- Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Offers & Coupons > Coupon Campaigns.
- Locate the campaign you wish to copy from the list.
- Click the three-dots icon on the right side of the campaign's row to display options.
Select Duplicate from the drop-down menu.
- You will be taken to the Create New Campaign screen where the fields are pre-filled with the information from the original campaign. Note the following key differences:
- The campaign name is automatically prefixed with "Copy of" to distinguish it from the original. We recommend changing this to a unique name for better tracking.
- For a Single Code campaign, the Coupon code field will be empty. You must enter a new code.
- Coupon codes from a Bulk codes campaign will not be duplicated. A new, unique set of coupon codes will be automatically generated.
- Review all settings and make any other necessary edits.
- Click the Finish setup button to save and activate your new campaign.
