✨ Hosted Customer Flows: User Account Redesign
The User Account widget has received a thorough redesign. This update not only introduces a refreshed, modern interface for your subscribers but also provides you with greater flexibility and control over the widget's configuration through enhancements such as a simpler color setup and support for full dark mode.
What I need to do
No action is required on your side. The update is automatic.
Where to find it
Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows and select the User Account tab.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Payment History Visibility in User Account
We’ve introduced a new customization option that gives you greater control over your subscribers' account experience. You now have the ability to explicitly show or hide the payment history section within the user account view.
What I need to know
- Default Setting: The payment history section remains visible to your subscribers by default.
- Action Required: No action is necessary unless you wish to hide this section from your viewers.
Where to find it
To adjust this setting, go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows and select the User Account tab.

For detailed instructions, please refer to the Configure Web User Account Widget Behavior section in our Hosted Customer Flows documentation.
✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Cancellation Survey Control in User Account
Tailor your subscriber retention process with our newest setting. You can now choose whether or not to present a cancellation survey when a user decides to end their subscription through their account.
What I need to do
By default, the survey will continue to appear. If you prefer a more streamlined cancellation flow without the questionnaire, you can simply toggle this setting off - otherwise, no action is needed.
Where to find it
Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows and select the User Account tab.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Pause Support in Account Widget
Subscription Pause - a powerful retention tool - is now integrated into Hosted Customer Flows.
Instead of losing users who wish to cancel due to travel, temporary financial constraints, or a sports off-season, you can now offer them the flexibility to temporarily pause their subscription. This strategic alternative to cancellation empowers users with greater control while helping you mitigate churn and extend Subscriber Lifetime Value (LTV).
What’s new
- Dedicated "Pause" Option: Subscribers will now see a dedicated "Pause" button within their My Account section if you enable the feature in the Cleeng Dashboard.
What I need to do
To make this option available to your customers, you need to enable it within the Cleeng Dashboard. Simply navigate to Offer setup > Pricing and enable the required setting (listed as Pause allowed) for a selected offer.
💡 Pro Tip: Boost customer satisfaction with pause
Offering a pause option right at the moment a user considers cancelling is a proven deflection tactic. Promote this flexibility during off-seasons or holiday months to build trust, reduce voluntary churn, and keep your subscriber base intact year-round.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Payment Successful Redirect Page
You can now dynamically control post-payment redirection directly on the checkout widget container. By using the new paymentSuccessRedirectUrl property within data-cleeng-props, you can define and update redirect behavior via HTML or JavaScript, overriding static dashboard configurations.
The widget will prioritize this new widget-level setting over the dashboard configuration, falling back to a home page if neither is defined.
Key benefits
This enhances your ability to customize post-purchase user journeys, enabling targeted promotions, ultimately optimizing user experience and conversion.
What I need to do
-
To use dynamic redirects: Update your front-end code to pass the
paymentSuccessRedirectUrlparameter into thedata-cleeng-propsJSON object on your widget container. - To keep your current setup: No action is required. This update is entirely backward compatible. If the new attribute is not passed, your existing dashboard-configured redirects will continue to work exactly as they do today.

- For existing dashboard configuration details, see the section on configuring checkout widget behavior.
✨ Dashboard Reporting: New Value for Distribution Channel
We are continually refining our analytics tools to give you the most accurate and transparent view of your subscriber data. Recently, a new value: Unknown has been introduced for Distribution Channel reporting.
This update ensures that any transactions or subscriptions lacking an explicitly defined origin (such as legacy data) are correctly captured in your overall totals.
What I need to do
No action is required. Our system will automatically categorize applicable data under the "Unknown" distribution channel, providing you with a more complete picture of your audience.
Where to find it
You will notice this new value when viewing, grouping, or filtering your reports by Distribution Channel.
Improvements
🚀 Hosted Customer Flows: Coupon Code Field Enhancements
We have upgraded the behavior, styling, and placement of the promo code field in both the Checkout and My Account sections to provide a smoother, more intuitive user experience.
What’s new
- Updated Wording: Changed "Coupon code" to "Promo code" throughout the interface, and labeled applied codes simply as "Discount" in the price breakdown.
- Improved Visibility & Styling: The Promo Code button is now neatly positioned under the plan details box with input fields that better adapt to custom background colors.
- Easier Management: The input field and "Apply" button are now displayed more clearly. Once a code is applied, users can easily view the code name, discount percentage, and a convenient "Remove" link.
What I need to do
No action is required.

🚀 Hosted Customer Flows: Checkout UX and UI Enhancements
Here is a breakdown of the recent updates we’ve made to optimize both the copy and the visual layout of the checkout:
Text & Copy Enhancements:
- Checkout Buttons: Button text now dynamically updates based on the stage and offer type (e.g., displaying Continue or Start subscription).
- Address Fields: "Zip code" renamed to "ZIP code".
UI & Layout Enhancements:
- Input Fields & Forms: All input fields and error messages are visually aligned to create a unified, consistent checkout form experience.
- Offer Pricing: The base gross price (net + tax) is clearly displayed in the top panel, independent of applied coupons or free trials. Additionally, the price breakdown section is hidden for offers with a free trial to keep the interface simple and direct.
- Legal & CAPTCHA Text: To improve your visual experience, Legal and CAPTCHA elements now feature reduced opacity while remaining compliant. In addition, cancellation instructions have been refreshed for clarity.
🚀 Payout: Billing Information Improvements
We have updated the bank details configuration in the Cleeng dashboard to better support our global clients. The dashboard will now dynamically adapt the required bank account fields to match your specific geographical location and local financial standards.
What I need to do
No action is necessary if your bank details are already configured. However, if you were previously unable to complete your bank details setup, you can now log into your Cleeng dashboard and successfully complete your payout configuration.
Where to find it
Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Account, and select Billing Information tab.

🚀 Access Purchased Email: Improved Messaging for One-Time Purchases
We have updated the terminology in our "Access Purchased" emails to provide a more accurate and seamless post-purchase experience for your customers.
What’s changed
To ensure clarity, we have updated the text. Now, whenever a customer buys a non-subscription offer, such as a pass or one-time purchase, the email will explicitly use the term "Purchase".
What I need to do
This update applies automatically to emails using Basic Customization.
