Overview
On 28 July 2026, Cleeng released an update to the Analytics & ChurnIQ dashboards. This update aims to clarify what each reported figure signifies and provide you with filters that align with the specific metric you are analyzing.
Most dashboards look the same as before. There are three kinds of visible change:
- Three metrics now show more accurate values, so their numbers will look different than before.
- Several dashboards gain new filter options.
- Some filters have clearer names, and a few filters have been removed where they did not fit the metric.
Metrics With Updated Values
If you track these metrics over time, expect a change around the release date. This is a change in how the metric is measured, not a change in your actual business performance.
Cancelation Rate
Cancelation Rate now measures at the subscription level instead of the customer level. Before, one customer who canceled three subscriptions counted once. Now, each canceled subscription is counted, so the same case counts as three. The metric is also measured against the subscriptions active at the start of the month.
This aligns Cancelation Rate with Subscription Churn Rate, so the two metrics are directly comparable.

Average Revenue per Subscriber
Average Revenue per Subscriber now reflects only paying, active subscribers. Subscribers who have churned, and therefore contribute no revenue, are no longer included in the calculation.
Users Converted
Users Converted counts each unique customer once, however many subscriptions they hold. If a customer holds two active subscriptions, they are counted as one customer.
New Filter Options
Several dashboards now offer new filters. Each new filter matches the reporting level of the metric it sits on, so you can slice the data in ways that stay accurate. These filters do not change any existing numbers. They give you new ways to break down data you already see.
The new filters are:
- Churn Type on Churned Subscriber Lifetime, Engagement (Pre-Churn), Churned Subscribers, and Customer Lifetime Value. Shows whether churn was voluntary (customer-initiated) or involuntary (caused by a failed payment or a publisher decision).
- Customer Country on Cancelation Rate, Churned Subscriber Lifetime, Engagement, Engagement (Pre-Churn), New Users, and User Accounts. Filters by the customer's registered country.
- Subscription Acquisition Channel on MRR Movement and Monthly Recurring Revenue. Filters by the channel through which the subscription was acquired.
- Offer Period on Cancelation Rate, MRR Movement, and Monthly Recurring Revenue. Filters by billing period, for example monthly or annual.
- Campaign Name on Coupons Redeemed. Filters coupon redemptions by campaign.
- Customer Acquisition Channel on Users Converted. Filters by the channel through which the customer was originally acquired.
Renamed and Updated Filters
Some filters now have clearer names, so it is easier to see exactly what they filter. In most cases only the label changed and your numbers stay the same. Where the data behind a filter also changed, it is noted below.
Country
"Country" has been renamed depending on the dashboard. In both cases only the label changed and your numbers stay the same.
"Customer Country" on:
- Active Subscriber Movement
- Active Subscription Movement
- Active Subscriptions
- Average Revenue per Subscriber
- Average Time to Convert
- Cancelation Rate
- Cancelations
- Cancelations Recovered
- Churned Subscriber Lifetime
- Churned Subscribers
- Coupon to Full-Price Conversions
- Customer Lifetime Value

- Engagement (Pre-Churn)
- Monthly Recurring Revenue
- MRR Movement
- New Subscribers
- New Users

Offer
"Offer" has been renamed depending on the dashboard.
- "Offer Title" across most Analytics & ChurnIQ dashboards, which shows the offer name rather than an internal ID.
- "Subscriber Acquisition Offer Title" on Customer Lifetime Value, which shows the offer the customer first subscribed to.
Channel
"Channel" has been renamed depending on the dashboard:
"Subscription Acquisition Channel" on:
- Active Subscription Movement
- Cancelations
- Cancelations Recovered
- Monthly Recurring Revenue
- MRR Movement
- Pause Overview
On these dashboards the data behind the filter was also updated to reflect the channel through which each subscription was acquired, so results may look different than before.
"Winback Acquisition Channel" on:
- Winback Subscribers
"Transaction Channel" on:
- ARPU Simple
- Average Transaction Value
- Coupons Redeemed
- Passes Purchased
- Transaction Trends
- Transaction Value
- Transaction Volume
Removed Filters
Some filters have been removed from dashboards where they no longer apply. This happens on subscriber-level dashboards, where a single subscriber can hold several subscriptions on different offers, so an offer filter cannot give a clean result:
- "Payment Gateway" removed from Average Revenue per Subscriber.
- "Offer" removed from Average Revenue per Subscriber, New Subscribers, and Churned Subscribers.
Action Needed: Update Your Scheduled and Saved Reports
If you have scheduled dashboards results that use any filter that was renamed, updated, or removed, update them so they keep working correctly. An export that relies on an old filter may return different results or stop returning the data you expect.
FAQ
Does Average Revenue per Subscriber (ARPS) include trials?
No. ARPS is based on Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), so trials are not included.
Does Average Revenue per Subscriber (ARPS) include subscriptions in their grace period?
Yes. Subscriptions in their grace period are included, because they have not churned yet.
