Cleeng's payment orchestration sits between your subscription logic and your payment processor(s), routing every transaction to the payment service provider (PSP) best suited to handle it. This orchestration layer connects you to dozens of PSPs and payment methods through a single integration. This gives our customers the flexibility to run the PSP you already trust, or add new ones as you expand, while still benefiting from the full suite of Cleeng's SRM products.
Cleeng and Payment Orchestration
Payment orchestration is available to both Merchant and non-Merchant customers, though it serves a different purpose for each:
- Merchant customers, when relevant, process payments through Cleeng's orchestration layer to unlock new markets and new payment methods (e.g. Pix Automático in Brazil is available via dLocal) on top of Cleeng's Merchant: routing across several PSPs and country-specific logic.
- Non-Merchant customers use orchestration for fast integration with any PSP and payment method.
Benefits
Connecting through a payment orchestration platform with a single integration point brings different advantages depending on whether Cleeng is your Merchant of Record:
For Merchant customers:
- Processor flexibility, fast integration: Adding, migrating, or load-balancing processors is fast and easy, since PSPs are pre-integrated.
- New local payment methods: Add payment methods that suit specific markets without a separate integration project.
- Optimal performance: Cleeng uses your payments data to route every new transaction to the most adequate PSP based on region, card type, payment method, and value, not one processor's fixed defaults.
- Country logic: Route transactions to separate PSPs for each payment method in a specific country or region, so that every transaction is processed by the PSP that performs best for each method.
For non-Merchant customers:
- Fast integration with any PSP: Connect the PSP and payment methods you need without building a bespoke integration from scratch.
- Multi-PSP integration on request: If needed, connect more than one PSP through Cleeng’s payment orchestration layer.
- Full Cleeng product suite: Keep using Core, ChurnIQ, and Hi5 for subscriber management, churn intelligence, and customer care, regardless of which PSP is running underneath.
