✨ Locale and Transactional Emails: Hungarian Supported
We have added Hungarian (hu_HU) to the list of supported locales. You can now use hu_HU as a customer’s locale. We have also added support for the Hungarian language in transactional emails, so customers with the hu_HU locale can receive them in Hungarian.
What you need to do
For transactional emails:
- If you use Basic Customization, translations are automatically available.
- If you have selected Advanced Customization (you use your own Mailchimp Account), you need to sync templates in the Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Transactional Emails > Mailchimp Integration to take advantage of the newly added language version.

✨ Transactional Emails: Subscription Renewal Payment Reminder and Subscription Payment Added
We have added two email templates:
- Subscription Renewal Payment Reminder: sent to the customer up to 14 days before their access ends when their subscription has no usable payment method and therefore cannot renew.
- Subscription Payment Added: sent to the customer when they add a payment method to a subscription that had none.
What you need to do
- If you have chosen Basic Customization, new templates are turned on by default.
- If you have chosen Advanced Customization, you need to sync templates in the Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Transactional Emails > Mailchimp Integration to import the new templates.

Improvements
🚀 Subscription Report: Subscription Acquisition Device
The Subscription Report now includes a Subscription acquisition device column. It shows the device type on which a subscription was first bought. It includes Apple App Store (StoreKit 2) and Google Play subscriptions. You can use it as a column and as a filter.
Key benefits
- See which devices bring in new subscriptions.
- Compare acquisition between devices.
- Filter the export to one device to build targeted reports and campaign lists.
What you need to know
The column shows the device of the first purchase. It doesn’t change on renewal or if the subscriber later watches on another device. It’s separate from the Payment method which shows how the subscriber pays.
What you need to do
You don't need to switch anything on. The column is already in the Subscription Report.
If a scheduled export or integration reads the file by column position, update it. The new column shifts every column after the Payment method column.
Where to find it
The column sits right after the Payment method column in the Subscription Report (Cleeng Dashboard > Analytics > Data Export > Subscription Report tab).

API Changes
Updated
🚀 Core (3.1) API
Now you can record the device type of the purchase when you create externally-managed subscriptions and passes.
The following Core (3.1) API endpoints accept a new optional field, initialPurchaseDevice:
- Create subscription: records the device type of the initial purchase when you create an externally-managed subscription.
- Create a pass: records the device type of the purchase when you create an externally-managed pass.
What you need to do
No action is required. The field is optional and existing requests continue to work. To record the device type, add initialPurchaseDevice to Create subscription and Create a pass requests you send.
