How is campaign revenue measured?
Campaign revenue shows the revenue generated by a subscription or pass after a coupon has been used. The method used is as follows:
Mike creates a subscription and uses a coupon from the 'June Special' campaign
After applying this coupon, 6 transactions are recorded for Mike's subscription.
Each transaction has a value of $5.
The 'June Special' campaign now has $30 associated with it.
Every further transaction Mike has with this subscription will further increase the
revenue that is attributed to this campaign.
The revenue from Mike's subscription will continue to be attributed to the 'June Special' campaign, until Mike's subscription is terminated, and no further revenue can be associated with it.
Campaign revenue visualized
Campaign revenue is visualized in two different ways. The first is as a measure of 'Campaign Lifetime Revenue'. This means that you can see the total revenue generated by any subscriptions or passes to which this coupon was applied.
For example:
500 coupons were redeemed for the 'New Year Special' campaign across 500 subscriptions
To date, this group of 500 subscriptions has produced an average of $15 each
Lifetime Revenue for this campaign is 500 x $15, or $7500
The second is by monthly campaign revenue. This shows you how much revenue is still being generated by subscriptions or passes created with each campaign. It allows you to track the long term impact that each campaign is having at a monthly level.
