Transactional Emails - Subscription Stopped Template
A Subscription Stopped template has been added to the set of email templates. This template is useful for situations when a subscriber cancels their subscription.
Currently this template has an English version only.
If you have chosen Basic Customization, new templates are turned on by default.
If you have selected Advanced Customization, you need to sync templates in the Cleeng Dashboard -> Admin & Tools -> Transactional Emails -> Mailchimp Integration to import a new template.
Please refer to the article What emails are sent to my customers? to find out more about adding new templates depending on the selected customization option.
Taxes Collection for the United Arab Emirates Customers
In our continuous efforts to improve our service, we have been developing a new update for the United Arab Emirates specifically. Thanks to this update, UAE customers will have a 5% VAT added to their purchases.
If you use Cleeng’s Merchant (Cleeng is a dynamic checkout engine and acts as Merchant of Record) and sell your content to customers in the United Arab Emirates, the following information is relevant to your content offers:
- Historically, prices for offers localized for UAE were exclusive of VAT
- From February 9, 2024, prices for UAE will now be treated as inclusive of VAT on the Cleeng platform
- You may need to update your prices on any offers that target the UAE market that were created before February 9, 2024
What do I need to do?
Do you have offers localized for the United Arab Emirates that are currently active? You can recognize them by a ‘AE’ ending on their offer-ID.
These prices will now be treated as gross prices for taxation purposes.
A VAT rate of 5% will now apply to any purchases of your offers made in the UAE and will be remitted on your behalf to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). If you wish to update your prices, you can do so in the Cleeng Broadcaster dashboard.
