Maximize reporting efficiency—Cleeng’s new automatic deletion policy removes failing schedules, improves performance, and simplifies workflows.
Overview
Some schedules experienced recurring issues that were not automatically resolved, leading to unnecessary resource usage. To improve system efficiency, Cleeng is implementing a policy to automatically remove repeatedly failing schedules. This approach reduces system load, optimizes resources, and streamlines workflows.
Improvements
- Any schedule that fails six consecutive times due to external issues will be automatically deleted.
- Only schedules failing due to rejected deliveries will be impacted.
- Schedules that fail due to internal ChurnIQ errors will not be deleted.
Main Benefits
- Improved Performance: Removing failing schedules reduces system load, leading to better responsiveness.
- Cleaner Environment: Users will have a more organized and efficient experience.
Recommended Scheduling Frequency
While there are no strict limits on scheduling frequency, the recommendations are:
- A maximum frequency of every 6 hours for most reports and dashboards.
- An exception for the 'Customer Transactions' dashboard, which can be scheduled as frequently as every 15 minutes for near real-time insights.
Important: Using these recommended frequencies helps maintain system efficiency and ensures reliable data delivery.
Best Practices for Users
To ensure your schedules remain active and functional:
- Verify your receiving system: Ensure that your external system is correctly configured to accept scheduled reports.
- Monitor your schedules: Regularly check for any failing schedules and take corrective action if needed.
- Adjust scheduling frequency: If a schedule is failing frequently, consider modifying its frequency or reviewing its configuration.
