Starting from February 1st, 2025, we have introduced changes to our payout documentation to improve transparency and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Below, you will find an overview of the updated documents and detailed explanations of each section.

Overview
As of February 2025, the following documents are available:

Payout Statement – This document replaces the previous "Payout Invoice." It summarizes your revenue, fees, deposit adjustment and final payout amount. Available for download in the portal around the 5th business day of the month.

Self-Billing Payable Invoice – Details the revenue collected, cancellations, and other adjustments. Sent via email around the 5th business day of the month.
- Sales Invoice – Lists Cleeng's service fees, including Merchant, Overages fees and Other fees (early payout fees, other currency fees, closure fee). Sent via email around the 5th business day of the month.
Each document is available in your account portal or sent via email as specified above.
Payout Statement
The Payout Statement provides an overview of all transactions affecting your payout. Below is a breakdown of each section:
- Payout Statement Title & ID – Identifies the statement with a unique number.
- Payout Number & Date – Reference number for tracking and the issuance date.
- Publisher Information – Your business name, address, and tax ID.
- Merchant of Record – Cleeng’s business details, including tax ID.
- Self-Billing Invoice Summary – Revenue collected, cancellations, and gross total.
- Cleeng Invoice Summary – Lists service fees deducted from the payout.
- Deposit Adjustment – Current Service Deposit: The amount of money kept by Cleeng for the recent period. It’s calculated as 5% of Total Earnings. The money will be released with the next payout. Return of Previous Service Deposit: The amount of money kept by Cleeng for the previous period that is now returned to the broadcaster.

Total Payout – Final amount transferred to your account in your default currency.
Self-Billing Payable Invoice
The Self-Billing Payable Invoice summarizes the revenue generated from subscriptions and other sources.
- Invoice Title & ID – Unique identifier for this invoice.
- Invoice Details – Payout reference number, issue date, and currency.
- Supplier/Publisher Details – Your company’s name, address, and tax ID.
- Merchant of Record – Cleeng’s details, including tax ID.
- Revenue Summary – Quantity & value of total paid transactions over the period (without tax) for different products/services (specified below). Quantity & value of canceled transactions.
- Net Value – The total amount before deductions.
- Tax Total – The total amount of tax.

Invoice Total – Final payable amount before fees are deducted.
Sales Invoice (Cleeng Fees)
The Sales Invoice outlines Cleeng’s service fees deducted from your payout.
- Invoice Title & ID – Identifies this document.
- Cleeng’s Company Information – Address, VAT number, and registration details.
- Publisher Information – Your company’s details.
- Invoice Details – Currency, payout number, date, and invoice status.

Service Fees Breakdown – Lists all service fees, including:
- Merchant Fees – Usage fees for Cleeng Merchant based on number of transactions (Quantity).
- Overage Fees – Usage fees for Cleeng Core, ChurnIQ, and/or Hi5 based on Managed Users (Quantity); charges for exceeding service thresholds.
- Chargebacks & Cancellations – Cleeng collects €/$ 8 for each chargeback once occurred. Cleeng collects €/$ 1 for each refund once occurred. See more details in section 5. of the Merchant Schedule.
- Other fees – Other fees: Additional costs if such were discussed with the Broadcaster directly.Currency Exchange fee: For broadcasters whose custom currency is different than EUR, GBP, and USD, Cleeng collects 2.5% from the Subtotal Earnings to cover currency exchange fluctuations as per the Merchant Schedule. Early Payout fee: Additional fee collected by Cleeng for an early payout. Account Closure fee: Additional fee collected by Cleeng for closing the account.
