✨ Cleeng MCP Server Is Live: Bring Cleeng to Your AI Tools
You can now connect Cleeng to the AI tool your team already uses and manage customers, offers, analytics and subscriptions through conversations without using the Cleeng dashboard.
Key features
- Three roles available in the current version: Retention Intelligence, Customer Experience Management and Product Management.
- Explore metrics, churn trends and performance without opening a dashboard.
- Find customer accounts and fix common issues without leaving the conversation.
- Administrators grant roles and permissions per user in Cleeng MCP access under Access & Security.
- You stay in control: Each person decides what their AI tool may do by granting appropriate permission levels: None, Read, or Full. An AI tool never gets more access than the person who connected it.
What you can do
You can get a quick overview here. Your existing access is all agents need. You sign in with your own Cleeng account. Agents inherit exactly the access you already have - never more. Here are some examples of what you can do:
- Track churn risk, revenue, and active subscriptions, with period-over-period comparison with a Retention Intelligence agent.
- Look up a customer account or a subscription, and carry out a change on a subscription with a Customer Experience Management agent.
- Find offers, their pricing and terms with a Product Management agent.
Where to find it
Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Access & Security. You will see the Cleeng MCP access option while adding a new team member or within the Edit role option for the existing team members. Grant roles and user permission levels.
How to get started
An administrator grants access to team members in the Cleeng Dashboard, and then each person adds the connector in their AI tool and grants appropriate permission levels to it.

✨ Access & Security: More Control Over Access to Your Cleeng Dashboard
Team access, sign-in security and account history now sit together in the new section: Access & Security under Admin & Tools. You can assign access, require two-factor authentication across your whole workspace, and review who did what and when.
There is no migration, no downtime and no re-integration. Existing admin accounts keep working exactly as they do today, and the new controls appear in the dashboard your team already uses.
What has changed
- Team access moved to Admin & Tools > Access & Security > Roles & Team (previously in Admin & Tools > Account).
- Dashboard permissions: Billing has been split into Billing - Payout and Billing - Invoice, so the two can be granted separately.
- Team member invitations are now single-use links with a 7-day expiry, a pending state, and resend and revoke options.
- Member type: When you invite a user, you can set a member type: Team member, Partner and Cleeng Support.
- Two-factor authentication moved to Admin & Tools > Access & Security > Login 2FA method (previously in Account > Company Profile), and it applies to the whole workspace.
- Audit Log: Information on sign-ins, invitations, role changes and security changes in one log, kept for at least 90 days and exportable to CSV.
- Account changes: Email address, company, billing and payout edits require extra confirmation before they take effect.
Where to find it
In your Cleeng Dashboard, go to Admin & Tools > Access & Security. You will find:
- Roles & Team - who has access, which role they hold and their invitation state.
- Add team member - set the role and permissions, and optionally a member type, before the invitation is sent.
- Login 2FA method - require two-factor authentication for the workspace.
- Audit Log - sign-ins, invitations and security changes, ready to export.
What you need to do
Nothing changes about the way you sign in, and your team keeps the access it has today. When you have a moment, we suggest the following:
- Review your team. In Roles & Team, check the role each person holds, especially anyone who works with both invoices and payouts.
- Split billing access. Assign Billing - Payout and Billing - Invoice separately where those two tasks belong to different people.
- Turn on two-factor authentication.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Security Settings with Domain Allowlist
You can now control which domains are allowed to embed your Hosted Customer Flows widgets - Checkout, Sign-up, and User Account. Once you configure this new security setting, your widgets will render only on the domains you list, which reduces the risk of unauthorized embedding.
Where to find it
Go to Cleeng Dashboard > Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows > Security tab.
What you need to do
Configuring the allowlist in the dashboard is currently optional, but it will become mandatory on 7 December 2026.
⚠️ Action needed: If you use Hosted Customer Flows, please configure the allowlist before that date. From 7 December 2026, widgets embedded on domains that are not on your allowlist will render with an error message.
To configure it now, turn on the switch for Where can these widgets be embedded? and add the domains.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: Apple Pay and Google Pay Flexible Layout
We’ve introduced a new dashboard setting that gives you more control over how Apple Pay and Google Pay payment methods are presented to your customers. You can now choose how these popular digital wallets appear in the Checkout and in the “Edit payment details” section of the User Account.
We now support both Vertical and Horizontal layout, giving you the power to optimize your payment funnel and reduce checkout friction.
What's new
-
Customizable Layout Styles: Choose the display style that best fits your checkout experience:
- Vertical: Shows Apple Pay and Google Pay as separate options within the payment method list.
- Horizontal: Shows them side by side, placed directly above the credit card form for a faster express checkout experience.
- Smart Availability Logic: To reduce friction, Apple Pay and Google Pay will now dynamically display only when supported by the customer’s browser, device, and your merchant configuration. If a specific wallet is not available for a user, it simply won't be shown, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
Note: This feature is currently available exclusively for checkout configurations utilizing Adyen as the payment gateway.
Where to find it
Go to Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows, select the Checkout tab, and locate Apple Pay & Google Pay presentation. The layout you select will be applied consistently across both the checkout process and the payment method update flows.
What you need to do
The default configuration is Vertical, so if you want to activate the horizontal styling, toggle the layout option to Horizontal under your Checkout tab and save changes.

✨ Hosted Customer Flows: New Setting to Hide Zip-Code
You can now control whether the zip code field is visible. Turning off the new Show ZIP code field setting hides the zip code field in two places:
- Checkout
- User Account when updating a payment method.
Where to find it
You can find this new configuration option, directly within your dashboard settings: go to Admin & Tools > Hosted Customer Flows, select the Checkout tab, and locate the Show zip code field setting.
What you need to do
The default configuration is Yes, so the zip code field stays visible. If you want to turn it off, toggle the Show zip code field to No.

Improvements
🚀 Cleeng AI Assistant: UI and UX Improvements
With our latest update, we’ve completely redesigned the Cleeng AI Assistant’s welcome screen to help you get started faster and discover capabilities instantly.
What’s new
When you launch the AI Assistant, you will now see a redesigned, highly scannable interface. We have:
- Refreshed the Welcome Message: A clear, newly designed introduction to help orient both new and returning users.
- Redesigned conversation history: Grouping by dates and more unique titles.
- Introduced Categorized Prompt Groups: Instead of a generic list, we’ve grouped example prompts into logical categories (such as Offers and Customers). These carefully curated suggestions highlight exactly what the assistant can do for you right now - from creating new renewable subscription offers to looking up specific customer details.
Where to find it
This enhancement is natively integrated and already live in your Cleeng Dashboard. Simply open the Cleeng AI Assistant window, and the new welcome screen will greet you before you start your first query.
What you need to do
No action or setup is required on your part. This is an automatic UI upgrade. Simply open the AI Assistant and try clicking on one of the new categorized prompts to see it in action.
