📢 Hosted Customer Flows: Offer Descriptions Visible to End Users in Checkout and My Account
From 5 August 2026, the offer Description field - until now visible only inside the Cleeng Dashboard - will be shown to end users in the hosted customer flows.
Descriptions will appear in:
- Checkout - below the offer title.
- My Account > Switch Plan - on each selectable offer.
- My Account > Unsubscribe - on downgrade options.
See the example below:
Important
Descriptions are displayed exactly as entered and are not automatically translated. If you need localized text, you will need to use a localized offer.
What you need to do
If you use Cleeng's hosted customer flows, please review the Description field in Offer Setup for all your offers before the release goes live.
- If you want descriptions to show: Ensure your text is accurate and ready for end users to read.
- If you prefer not to show descriptions: Leave the Description field empty.
Where to find it
To set or edit descriptions, go to Cleeng Dashboard > Offers & Coupons > Offers and navigate to Step 2 of the Offer Setup > Description field.Â

Improvements
🚀 Analytics & ChurnIQ: Updated Metrics and New Filters
We’ve rolled out updates to the Analytics and ChurnIQ dashboards to enhance your reporting and provide more precise filtering.Â
Key changes include:
- Updated metric calculations for Cancelation Rate, Average Revenue per Subscriber, and Users Converted to better align with your subscription dynamics.
- New filters, such as Churn Type, Customer Country, Offer Period, and Subscription Acquisition Channel, added across several dashboards.
- Renamed and updated filters to perfectly align with the specific metrics they represent (for example, clarifying “Country” as either “Customer Country” or “Transaction Country” depending on the dashboard).
- Removed filters: Payment Gateway removed from Average Revenue per Subscriber. Offer removed from Average Revenue per Subscriber, New Subscribers, and Churned Subscribers.
Benefits
- Deeper granularity: Your key metrics are now more finely tuned to your subscription model. For example, Cancelation Rate is now measured at the subscription level (making it directly comparable with Subscription Churn Rate), and Average Revenue per Subscriber now reflects only active, paying subscribers.
- Deeper data slicing: The new filters match the reporting level of the metrics they sit on. This gives you fresh ways to segment your data.
- Intuitive navigation: Clearer filter names mean you immediately know exactly what data you are filtering.
What you need to do
- Update scheduled and saved reports: If you have scheduled dashboard exports or saved reports that rely on the old filter names (or filters that have been removed), you need to update them to ensure your data keeps flowing correctly.
- Note the baseline shift: If you track Cancelation Rate, Average Revenue per Subscriber, or Users Converted over time, expect a change in the numbers starting around 28 July 2026. Please note this reflects the change in how each metric is calculated, not a change in your actual underlying business performance.
Where to find it
These updates are live automatically across your Cleeng Analytics and ChurnIQ dashboards.
Note: ChurnIQ dashboards are available on the Enterprise plan only.
